Sandrinho Silva hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Gonçalves came free, but Rafa Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rafa Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Oséas Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Cotinguiba AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Proença to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Sandrinho Silva made the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute, Sandrinho Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Christiano Passos in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cotinguiba AD's Sidney Proença. 84 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba AD's goalkeeper Rafa Marinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Haroldo Vergílio. Cotinguiba AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Dráusio Zanette scored to the left of an out of position Rafa Marinho, making the score, 0-1. 93 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dráusio Zanette came free, but Rafa Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tottenham played a much better game than Cotinguiba AD and deserved their victory. The Cotinguiba AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
