Guto do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Doriva Donato made a huge save. MotoSerra FC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after CEARA SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Narciso de Andrade took the corner. The corner ended in Narciso de Andrade almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CEARA SC's Doriva Donato did a great save. CEARA SC's Doriva Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Recife in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Luís Albuquerque reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doriva Donato. The goal made the score 5-0. In the 46th minute, Guto do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Doriva Donato. CEARA SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Paiva to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Luís Albuquerque had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Donato. CEARA SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Albuquerque was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After 55 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Rosa. Doriva Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arlindo Recife went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Doriva Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Paiva in the 61st minute of play. Frank da Silveira's late challenge caught a CEARA SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank da Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Frank da Silveira hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Doriva Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guto do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 88th play minutes Fabiano Quintal shot 10-1, a short shot which went by Murillo Simões and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 92nd minute Arlindo Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MotoSerra FC had played much better football throughout.
