Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto de Sena started the match with the kick off. Claudinei Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Trancoso in the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Centro Sportivo Alagoano got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto de Sena. When Dino Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Centro Sportivo Alagoano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Dino Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Claudinei Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centro Sportivo Alagoano. In the 21stth minute of the game Dino Trancoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trainspotting's Claudinei Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Trainspotting's Victor de Senna got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Douglas Arruda. Centro Sportivo Alagoano's Dino Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Róbson Corrêa in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinei Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dino Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei Mendes having to interfere. If Joaquim de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 50th minute of the match Trainspotting got a corner. Centro Sportivo Alagoano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor de Senna ran over to the corner to take the kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 56th minute Trainspotting were awarded a corner. Victor de Senna went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Gino Eger advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 56th minute. Douglas Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Arce went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Trainspotting's Antônio Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Arruda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trainspotting's goalkeeper Claudinei Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Centro Sportivo Alagoano's goalkeeper Douglas Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 86 played minutes Centro Sportivo Alagoano got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo dos Santos. Antônio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Arruda having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trainspotting had won after a very even match.
