Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ajacio's William de Medeiros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, William de Medeiros took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Murillo Simões to make any attempt to save it. Nuno Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Murillo Simões made a huge save. In the 9th minute, William de Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Narciso de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes MotoSerra FC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso de Andrade. If William de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Albuquerque took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Guimarães. Ronaldinho Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Nuno Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Paiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Jonas Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ajacio's Ronaldinho Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Paiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldinho Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MotoSerra FC. In the 98th minute, Zé Roberto Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murillo Simões was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The MotoSerra FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
