After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gilmar Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio PX's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilmar Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grêmio PX's Vitinho Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio PX from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Romero in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Ferreira saved Andirobal from getting behind. If Ulisses Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Esteves's late challenge caught a Grêmio PX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. Anselmo Esteves hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Válter Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andirobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Válter Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Grêmio PX's Magno Jacinto got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Válter Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edu Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gilmar Veiga sent off a good shot on target. Edu Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Andirobal's Anselmo Esteves got a free kick in the 78th minute. Marco Romero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edu Ferreira came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Romero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, one of Andirobal:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edu Ferreira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilmar Veiga in the 94th minute. Gilmar Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Edu Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edu Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Grêmio PX's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
