After a defensive mix-up in Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's zone, Manfredo Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Lara came out of the goal and Manfredo Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. João Paulo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Humberto Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Charles Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milagres SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gláuber Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Milagres SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Coelho was the one to do the kick off. João Paulo Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fábio Rosado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Paulo Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Abel Coelho struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Oséas Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milagres SC. João Paulo Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Rosado's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. A hard shot 60 in the game by Abel Coelho from a close distance when the talented Oséas Lara managed to make a qualified save. Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's players were relieved. Humberto Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Toscano in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Boa Sorte Atlético Clube got a freekick which was hit by Victor Souto. Gláuber Mesquita's late challenge caught a Milagres SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gláuber Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Milagres SC booed when Boa Sorte Atlético Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gláuber Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fábio Rosado hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. A collision led to Boa Sorte Atlético Clube getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Humberto Salgado hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's goalkeeper Oséas Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Coelho. Abel Coelho in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Oséas Lara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 84th minute Charles Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Gláuber Mesquita got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Gláuber Mesquita off the ground. Charles Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Lara having to interfere. If Abel Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Victor Souto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played. Abel Coelho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Oséas Lara skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Charles Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the match, Abel Coelho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Oséas Lara. Oséas Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
