The audience was convinced that Téo Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edu Ferreira was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Edu Ferreira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo Nogueira went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Edu Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Téo Hoffmann in the 9th minute of play. Téo Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edu Ferreira having to make a save. When Thomás Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F. C. Amargoso's protests and gave Thomás Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes F. C. Amargoso got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Alagoano. After a defensive mix-up in F. C. Amargoso's zone, Válter Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Mello came out of the goal and Válter Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Lucas's late challenge caught a Andirobal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes F. C. Amargoso got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Lucas. The supporters of F. C. Amargoso booed when Andirobal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Thomás Alagoano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. Paulo José Queiroz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernandinho Mello. F. C. Amargoso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Wilian Marquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edu Ferreira skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the game, F. C. Amargoso's Ricardo Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edu Ferreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Hoffmann in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Ferreira saved Andirobal from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Andirobal got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Esteves. In the 43rd minute, Danilo Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edu Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Hoffmann in the 44th minute of the match. F. C. Amargoso's Fernandinho Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save F. C. Amargoso from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Téo Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Téo Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Edu Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Wilian Marquez fired a really elegant long shot, but Edu Ferreira threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. A collision led to Andirobal getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Anselmo Esteves hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Téo Hoffmann in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Ferreira saved Andirobal from getting behind. Ulisses Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Mello having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Andirobal's goalkeeper Edu Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo Hoffmann. After 75 minutes, Ricardo Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F. C. Amargoso and the Andirobal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F. C. Amargoso's Ricardo Nogueira got a free kick in the 75th minute. Anselmo Esteves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fernandinho Mello. F. C. Amargoso's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 79 played minutes, F. C. Amargoso's Wilian Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edu Ferreira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F. C. Amargoso reached it. Edu Ferreira was a little too slow when Téo Hoffmann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-3. 85 minutes into the match, F. C. Amargoso's goal looked a bit too open when Válter Batista came free, but Fernandinho Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Andirobal booed when F. C. Amargoso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Nicolas Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F. C. Amargoso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Téo Hoffmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edu Ferreira. That made the score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. When the match was over F. C. Amargoso could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Andirobal throughout the match.
