The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Humberto Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Aparecido having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Fábio Rosado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vitinho Aparecido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vitinho Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Luciano de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Grêmio PX's Pedrão Vale got a free kick in the 13th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Walmyr Quadros tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Humberto Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vitinho Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Oséas Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Grêmio PX's Vitinho Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Salgado in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Humberto Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitinho Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half Boa Sorte Atlético Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 played minutes Grêmio PX got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fábio Vander. Vítor Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Humberto Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitinho Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Humberto Salgado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Vitinho Aparecido when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Grêmio PX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Vander to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fábio Rosado in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitinho Aparecido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fábio Rosado in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitinho Aparecido saved Grêmio PX from getting behind. After recieving a nice pass, Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Remo Castro tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Boa Sorte Atlético Clube's Fábio Rosado in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio PX's goalie prevented a goal. Humberto Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vitinho Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Grêmio PX fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boa Sorte Atlético Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
