Wilian Marquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cipriano Queiroz. PSHIX F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. PSHIX F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Benigno Michael 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Cipriano Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Michael's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PSHIX F.C.'s zone, Ricardo Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Queiroz came out of the goal and Ricardo Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Gualter Tinoco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandinho Mello. F. C. Amargoso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualter Tinoco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Olavo Salles's late challenge caught a F. C. Amargoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olavo Salles helped the player get up and apologised. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Michael made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Erasmo Paide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Benigno Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Queiroz having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Benigno Michael put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cipriano Queiroz. Benigno Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cipriano Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, PSHIX F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Michael came free, but Cipriano Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomás Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricardo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Benigno Michael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. F. C. Amargoso had played much better football throughout.
