A collision led to Zer0 F0c0 FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marcelinho de Alcântara hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zer0 F0c0 FC's Jânio Dionísio got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes Zer0 F0c0 FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Váldson Mota who took care of the corner kick. Váldson Mota made a great header on Sunderland A.F.C's corner, it was just that Zer0 F0c0 FC's Ronaldão Alcântara managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 24thth minute of the game Kléber Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zer0 F0c0 FC's Ronaldão Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Pinho in the 25th minute of play forced Sunderland A.F.C's goalkeeper Agnaldo Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Pinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agnaldo Lara. Sunderland A.F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandrinho Pinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ronaldão Alcântara came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sunderland A.F.C's Kléber Trevisan. But to his dismay, Kléber Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Jardel Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Sunderland A.F.C's Váldson Mota broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandrinho Pinho in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agnaldo Lara saved Sunderland A.F.C from getting behind. After 43 minutes, César Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunderland A.F.C and the Zer0 F0c0 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. César Pombal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Pinho in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zer0 F0c0 FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão Alcântara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandrinho Pinho made a kick off. Marcelinho de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Kléber Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldão Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Júnior Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Lara having to interfere. César Pombal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Zer0 F0c0 FC's Júnior Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Sandrinho Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zer0 F0c0 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandrinho Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zer0 F0c0 FC's Ronaldão Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Dante in the 76th minute of play. Rodolfo Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Alcântara having to interfere.
