Spectators: 6651 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adelino Santos got the match started through his kick off. Narciso Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Válbson Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Narciso Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válbson Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rubinho Britto charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubinho Britto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ipanana getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Rubinho Britto hit a great ball. In the 21st minute of the match Lucas Batista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Válbson Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Savas EC's Chiquinho Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Santos in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz Goiano during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Goiano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, Adelino Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chiquinho Quadros. Adelino Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Chiquinho Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Saldanha made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ipanana's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Saldanha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cristian Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válbson Montenegro having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Savas EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ipanana:s goal. The referee gave Ipanana a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zézinho Netto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Savas EC's Chiquinho Quadros. 3-1. Válbson Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Enrique Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Savas EC's zone, Adelino Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho Quadros came out of the goal and Adelino Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Adelino Santos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Ipanana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adelino Santos couldn't finish the play. Cristian Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Arantes in the 88th minute of play forced Savas EC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Ipanana's Cristian Arantes made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there!
