If Luiz Gustavo Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th play minute Agostinho Zonta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Róbson Pires. 1-0. Washington Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Washington Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Washington Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 30 minutes of play, SemLimites FC's Agostinho Zonta made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Róbson Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Uruguaiana's zone, Agostinho Zonta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbson Pires came out of the goal and Agostinho Zonta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardinho Cosme was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Barbosa in the 55th minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Róbson Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Alessandro Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Zonta in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Róbson Pires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Uruguaiana's attentive Víktor Chaves managed to snatch the ball when Murillo Chaves made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Ricardinho Cosme hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Barbosa in the 77th minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Róbson Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agostinho Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Róbson Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Zonta in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of SemLimites FC booed when Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uruguaiana's Róbson Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Zonta in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute Agostinho Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Róbson Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Barbosa in the 89th minute of the match. Róbson Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Barbosa in the 91st minute of play.
