In the 6th minute, Bebeto Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, DRAMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Nunes came free, but Luís Fábio Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Bebeto Macedo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguaiana's Róbson Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matheus Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of DRAMA FC booed when Uruguaiana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Carlinhos Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. DRAMA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Róbson Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bebeto Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Macedo in the 30th minute of play forced Uruguaiana's goalkeeper Róbson Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes, Donato Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguaiana and the DRAMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Luiz Fábio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Macedo came free, but Róbson Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luís Fábio Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bebeto Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Róbson Pires having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Bebeto Macedo rounded Uruguaiana's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0.

Uruguaiana's Róbson Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Moura in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes Uruguaiana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felippe Pereira who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Felippe Pereira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Uruguaiana's Róbson Pires did a great save. In the 59th match minute, Uruguaiana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fábio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, one of Uruguaiana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carlinhos Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Carlinhos Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DRAMA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jean Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Uruguaiana's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Leal came free, but Róbson Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Washington Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Róbson Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Macedo in the 87th minute of play. Carlinhos Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbson Pires having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Jean Fernandez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DRAMA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Silvério Barros fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguaiana's protests and gave Silvério Barros a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguaiana fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Carlinhos Leal took the ball and in the 100 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbson Pires. Róbson Pires dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DRAMA FC fully deserved thier win.
