After a defensive mix-up in Brusque's zone, Luiz Gustavo Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luizão Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jorginho Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Barbosa in the 22nd minute of the match. Agostinho Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorginho Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Agostinho Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Branco having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Jorginho Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SemLimites FC. In the 37th minute Agostinho Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agostinho Zonta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Gomes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Brusque got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos de Medeiros. Luan Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abel Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Lima having to interfere. Abel Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Mesquita's late challenge caught a Brusque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christiano Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, SemLimites FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. Manfredo Silveira struck a weak shot in the 78th minute.
