Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Renato de Castro took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato de Castro in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Borges saved Guaranii FC from getting behind. Cafu Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. After 12 played minutes World Strong Litoral got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Luz. Cafu Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltazar Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. With a little luck, Guaranii FC's Wellington Borges got control of the ball when Nelsinho Schmidt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wellington Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Schmidt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Wellington Borges when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Alan Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nelsinho Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. World Strong Litoral's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wellington Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wellington Borges came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by World Strong Litoral's Nelsinho Schmidt. But to his dismay, Nelsinho Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Renato de Castro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Wellington Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for World Strong Litoral. If Renato de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baltazar Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmílson Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cafu Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmílson Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Sérgio Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. World Strong Litoral's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltazar Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in World Strong Litoral's zone, Róbson Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Corrêa came out of the goal and Róbson Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Paulo José Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sérgio Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu Corrêa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sérgio Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute Nelsinho Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Borges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato de Castro in the 76th minute of play. Edmílson Sousa struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Nelsinho Schmidt's late challenge caught a Guaranii FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. If Baltazar Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu Corrêa came out of the goal and Edmílson Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Corrêa having to interfere. The World Strong Litoral players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
