The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dedé Fontes struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Amauri Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ESPARTACUS FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo da Fonseca in the 7th minute of play forced EC ANDRADINA's goalkeeper Amauri Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dedé Fontes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jean Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Amauri Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jean Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, EC ANDRADINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Soares to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Linhares in the 17th minute of play. Amauri Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedé Fontes in the 18th minute. Amauri Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as ESPARTACUS FC's Jean Linhares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amauri Pitta. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Jean Linhares might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amauri Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jean Linhares ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Linhares in the 35th minute of play forced EC ANDRADINA's goalkeeper Amauri Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valério Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Macedo in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dedé Fontes got free with Amauri Pitta in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. EC ANDRADINA's Romeu da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Amauri Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Jean Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarbas Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Norberto Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Dantas's late challenge caught a EC ANDRADINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes ESPARTACUS FC got a freekick which was hit by Christian Dantas. Amauri Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean Linhares went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. EC ANDRADINA's Amauri Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Linhares in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Romeu da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jean Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juarês Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Dedé Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amauri Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amauri Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Linhares in the 85th minute of the match. Betinho Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Dedé Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. ESPARTACUS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Amauri Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amauri Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. If Romeu da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jarbas Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the ESPARTACUS FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
