The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvério Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Edmílson Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Ademir Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RUBRO-NEGRO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaranii FC the free kick. The corner led to Guaranii FC's Mateus Tavares getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Artur Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wellington Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Romero struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Wellington Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RUBRO-NEGRO. 21 minutes into the match, RUBRO-NEGRO's Artur Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Guaranii FC's Baltazar Montenegro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frank Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Sousa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Fantini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Baltazar Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Edmílson Sousa made the kick off in the second half. 1-1 became the score in the 54th minute when Artur Leme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Guaranii FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Romero came free, but Wellington Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artur Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Borges having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guaranii FC's zone, David Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Borges came out of the goal and David Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Frank Fantini made a huge save. In the 72nd match minute, Guaranii FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Róbson Terra to maneuver through the defense. Wellington Borges came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by RUBRO-NEGRO's Artur Leme. But to his dismay, Artur Leme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 78th match minute, RUBRO-NEGRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Edmílson Sousa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guaranii FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
