Arthur Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Corrêa having to interfere. Enrique Pires struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Cafu Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaraBaly. Nico Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Luz in the 17th minute of the match. Arthur Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Reinaldo Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Arthur Souto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MaraBaly fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute, Kiko Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renato de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Secco having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, MaraBaly's Arthur Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cafu Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match Jano Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Corrêa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. José Maria Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Enrique Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MaraBaly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The World Strong Litoral players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MaraBaly were winning 0-2.

In the 53rd minute of the match Jano Sampaio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Corrêa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Renato de Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. World Strong Litoral's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MaraBaly the free kick. A collision led to World Strong Litoral getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Renato de Castro hit a great ball. When Arthur Souto came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the MaraBaly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arthur Souto couldn't finish the play. Cafu Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Pires in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes MaraBaly got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Valadares. Renato de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nico Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes, MaraBaly's Jano Sampaio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cafu Corrêa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MaraBaly reached it. Arthur Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enrique Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cafu Corrêa having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Souto in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cafu Corrêa saved World Strong Litoral from getting behind. Cafu Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded MaraBaly left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than World Strong Litoral.
