After a rather tough play, Guaranii FC's Clemente Ortiz got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Jean Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Eduardo da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valério Sousa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltazar Montenegro in the 22nd minute. If Jean Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Baltazar Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Valério Sousa made a huge save. Baltazar Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Valério Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Jean Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Guaranii FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ESPARTACUS FC were winning 0-1.

The supporters of ESPARTACUS FC booed when Guaranii FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Wellington Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Jacinto Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guaranii FC's Wellington Borges didn't even have to move. Alan Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jean Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guaranii FC's zone, Jean Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Borges came out of the goal and Jean Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dedé Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jean Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Wellington Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 77th minute, but Wellington Borges got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Guaranii FC hanging dry this time. Baltazar Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valério Sousa having to interfere. Juarês Sampaio hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Valério Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltazar Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jean Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ESPARTACUS FC's Valério Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Sousa in the 89th minute of play. When Guaranii FC's Baltazar Montenegro in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ESPARTACUS FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Guaranii FC booed when ESPARTACUS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Guaranii FC got a corner. ESPARTACUS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sérgio Tande ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sérgio Tande got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valério Sousa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Guaranii FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ESPARTACUS FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
