The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ESPARTACUS FC. After 14 minutes, Eduardo da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESPARTACUS FC and the Villa das Conchas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduardo da Fonseca hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. If Dedé Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo da Fonseca hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patrick de Carvalho during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Villa das Conchas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Quirino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Fontes went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Jean Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the ESPARTACUS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Linhares couldn't finish the play.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Dantas in the 55th minute of play forced Villa das Conchas SC's goalkeeper Marcos Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Jean Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa das Conchas SC's Marcos Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ESPARTACUS FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Eduardo da Fonseca hit a great ball. Valério Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto de Senna in the 64th minute of play. Dedé Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valério Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto de Senna in the 72nd minute of the match. Villa das Conchas SC's Marcos Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Fontes in the 74th minute of play. Marcos Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Jean Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ESPARTACUS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jacinto Santos in the 89th minute. Jacinto Santos made a great header on ESPARTACUS FC's corner, it was just that Villa das Conchas SC's Marcos Quirino managed to reach the ball for a save. Dedé Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Quirino having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Dedé Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dedé Fontes took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Quirino. Marcos Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ESPARTACUS FC fully deserved thier win.
