In the 12th minute, Zé Pedro Loureiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Fantini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Frank Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Belmiro Trancoso went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Santos FC's Zé Pedro Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Loureiro went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Zé Pedro Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Frank Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Belmiro Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

RUBRO-NEGRO's Frank Fantini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Vaz in the 52nd minute of play. RUBRO-NEGRO's Frank Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save RUBRO-NEGRO from getting a goal against them. After having played for 55 minutes, Belmiro Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RUBRO-NEGRO's Frank Fantini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save RUBRO-NEGRO from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's André Teixeira got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Artur Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Mazza came out of the goal and Artur Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Leme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cipriano Mazza having to make a save. Artur Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, David Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Mazza came out of the goal and David Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Belmiro Trancoso got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Belmiro Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Belmiro Trancoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedro Loureiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Frank Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Pedro Loureiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 83rd minute. If Zé Pedro Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fantini having to interfere. Zé Pedro Loureiro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, RUBRO-NEGRO's Frank Fantini got control of the ball when Belmiro Trancoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pedro Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fantini having to interfere.
