Edmílson Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aílton Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Wellington Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edmílson Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Montenegro went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Breno Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Baltazar Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simão Valladares made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Araqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Sousa came free, but Osvaldinho Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Wellington Borges made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Aílton Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Wellington Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Aílton Cosme notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Guaranii FC's Wellington Borges. Wellington Borges was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeca Leme hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Baltazar Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaranii FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Valdir Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wellington Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Simão Valladares in the 92nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Guaranii FC's Luís Paulo Moreira got a free kick in the 94th minute.
