Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Agnelo FC's Laércio de Queirós started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Meninos da Vila's Cesinha Moreno got a free kick in the 4th minute. When Carlos Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Agnelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Arósio couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giovanni Maciel. Hortêncio Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Wilson Silveira's late challenge caught a Agnelo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Meninos da Vila getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wilson Silveira hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Geovani Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giovanni Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Agnelo FC booed when Meninos da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Carlos Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Cléber Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Giovanni Maciel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Hortêncio Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos da Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio de Queirós came free, but Afonso Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Laércio de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agnelo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Afonso Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Linares in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Hortêncio Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meninos da Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Hortêncio Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 83rd match minute, Meninos da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Massa to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Meninos da Vila's goalkeeper Afonso Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro França. In the 89th minute, Hortêncio Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Otávio Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnelo FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Meninos da Vila had won, even though Agnelo FC had held more of the ball.
