Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hortêncio Mandrak got the match started through his kick off. Edson Leite came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Meninos da Vila's Hortêncio Mandrak. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Mandrak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Damião in the 7th minute of play forced Meninos da Vila's goalkeeper Afonso Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Meninos da Vila booed when Bago AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamim Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Leite having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Otávio Lago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doriva Guedes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. A collision led to Meninos da Vila getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Cesinha Moreno hit a great ball. Hortêncio Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hortêncio Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute Vitinho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Vitinho Damião made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Benjamim Marinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Meninos da Vila's Afonso Toledo. Afonso Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Meninos da Vila booed when Bago AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doriva Guedes's late challenge caught a Meninos da Vila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, one of Bago AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bago AD. Igor de Andrade shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. André Luiz Passos struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Edson Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meninos da Vila. Bago AD's Edson Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 75th minute of play. André Luiz Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Edson Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Mandrak in the 84th minute. Edson Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Mandrak in the 86th minute of the match. Wilson Silveira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Wilson Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Hortêncio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Leite having to interfere.
