After having played for 9 minutes, Rubens Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantosFcOsasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Soeiro in the 10th minute of play forced Dedeco fc's goalkeeper Júlio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Noel Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anísio Urbano during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes SantosFcOsasco got a freekick which was hit by Anísio Urbano. Rubens Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubens Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, Dedeco fc's goal looked a bit too open when Noel Soeiro came free, but Júlio Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Noel Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Pedro Brasil having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Diogo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes Dedeco fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bruninho de Barros who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bruninho de Barros almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dedeco fc's Júlio Toledo did a great save. João Augusto Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zé Pedro Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseu de Amorim made a kick off. Noel Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54thth minute of the game Noel Soeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dedeco fc's Júlio Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 55 played minutes SantosFcOsasco got a freekick which was hit by Noel Soeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Soeiro in the 57th minute of play forced Dedeco fc's goalkeeper Júlio Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Diogo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júlio Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Soeiro went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Júlio Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anísio Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Rubens Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Toledo. Dedeco fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rubens Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Noel Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Toledo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by SantosFcOsasco's Noel Soeiro. But to his dismay, Noel Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 94th minute, Anísio Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubens Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Toledo having to interfere.
