Claudinei Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jardel Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilson da Rocha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jardel Tavares showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. When Manaós's Antônio Carlos Silva in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Jardel Tavares got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Vito Neves hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Manaós were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luiz Vianna took the corner. The corner ended in Sílvio Luiz Vianna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's Gilson da Rocha did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Vito Neves hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Francisco Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Pires having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Alves in the 68th minute of play forced Manaós's goalkeeper Willian Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Jardel Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson da Rocha was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Gilson da Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Silva in the 79th minute of play. Jardel Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilson da Rocha came out of the goal and Jardel Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Francisco Alves took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Willian Pires to make any attempt to save it. The BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Manaós from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
