The Agnelo FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Agnelo FC's Laércio de Queirós looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Carlos Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Paraibano. With an all-out effort, Agnelo FC's Gilson da Rocha threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Laércio de Queirós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vitório Furtado during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vitório Furtado hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
