Helvecia SC's Luiz Guilherme Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Massa in the 21st minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Massa to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélio Arce in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jardel Gomes saved Escrivao from getting behind. Luiz Guilherme Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Massa in the 54th minute of play. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escrivao's goalkeeper Jardel Gomes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Escrivao were victorious despite being under pressure from Helvecia SC for much of the match.
