In a very dangerous position, a player in Manaós fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Willian Pires, was totally fooled by Dedeco fc's Mané Gomes, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 21 minutes into the match, Manaós's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu de Amorim came free, but Willian Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Manaós getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Francisco Oliveira hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Antônio Carlos Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manaós's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 37 minutes, Antônio Carlos Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manaós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Carlos Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Antônio Carlos Silva put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Júlio Toledo. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseu de Amorim was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, João Augusto Ribeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedeco fc's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto Ribeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willian Pires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Augusto Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Pires having to interfere. If Eliseu de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Robinho Vale in the 68th minute really tested Júlio Toledo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 71st minute, Adhemar Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manaós's Antônio Carlos Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Oliveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Júlio Toledo. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. Eliseu de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Willian Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, João Augusto Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Willian Pires. Manaós's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Antônio Carlos Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Júlio Toledo made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, João Augusto Ribeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willian Pires. Manaós's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Augusto Ribeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. With a little luck, Dedeco fc's Júlio Toledo got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dedeco fc had won after a very even match.
