Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7thth minute of the game Vitinho Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JV&M Esporte e Açao's Gustavo Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Vitinho Damião took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gustavo Mesquita to make any attempt to save it. José Carlos Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Benjamim Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Bago AD getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Benjamim Marinho hit a great ball. Cristóvão Couto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Leandro Galvão didn't quite understand what happened when in the 22 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After some careless play in the Bago AD defense, Clóvis Furtado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edson Leite. The Bago AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edson Leite should have stopped the shot. When Vitinho Damião came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bago AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitinho Damião couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Bago AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clóvis Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Leite having to interfere. José Carlos Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Leite. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Carlos Moura ran back to his position shaking his head.

Leandro Galvão charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leandro Galvão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
