Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wellington Quadros in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilson da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Vito Neves fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's protests and gave Vito Neves a yellow card for diving instead. BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's Gilson da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Queirós in the 13th minute of play. Jonas Queirós struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Gilson da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inhaumense FC. Vitório Furtado hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jonas Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Gilson da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jonas Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilson da Rocha was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, Inhaumense FC's goalkeeper Genílson Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Trancoso. Claudinei Trancoso succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 37th playminute. If Francisco Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inhaumense FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Francisco Alves 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Wellington Quadros made the kick off in the second half. When Jonas Queirós came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Inhaumense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Queirós couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Wellington Quadros came free, but Gilson da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Inhaumense FC's Wellington Quadros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Claudinei Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Falcão having to interfere. In the 67th minute Francisco Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Tostão Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Inhaumense FC's Luciano Queirós got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Trancoso in the 84th minute of play forced Inhaumense FC's goalkeeper Genílson Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Conrado Ferreira put in a rough tackle. Wellington Quadros got in the 97th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gilson da Rocha handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Vitório Furtado hit a great ball. BERTOLDO FUTEBOL CLUB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Inhaumense FC for a fine match.
