The referee showed Kauã Pimenta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Helvecia SC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Kauã Pimenta hit a great ball. Kauã Pimenta was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 9 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Helvecia SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JV&M Esporte e Açao:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clóvis Furtado got free with Luiz Guilherme Oliveira in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 15 minutes into the match, Helvecia SC's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clóvis Furtado. Hélio Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Hélio Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Mesquita was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 47th minute Cristiano Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Clóvis Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Luiz Guilherme Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Hélio Arce put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gustavo Mesquita. In the 80th match minute, JV&M Esporte e Açao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Batista to maneuver through the defense. If Hélio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Helvecia SC's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Furtado came free, but Luiz Guilherme Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hélio Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Mesquita having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in JV&M Esporte e Açao's zone, Cristiano Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Mesquita came out of the goal and Cristiano Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gustavo Mesquita stood somewhat misplaced when Hélio Arce came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 93 minute. Helvecia SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
