In the 9th minute, SantosFcOsasco's Rubens Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Bago AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Adolfo Brodel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to SantosFcOsasco getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Anísio Urbano hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, Bago AD's Doriva Guedes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Pedro Brasil came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bago AD reached it. In the 32nd minute, João Adolfo Brodel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bago AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Doriva Guedes's late challenge caught a SantosFcOsasco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doriva Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bago AD! Noel Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Edson Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, SantosFcOsasco's Anísio Urbano got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Vitinho Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the game, Virgílio Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SantosFcOsasco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bago AD the free kick. The supporters of Bago AD booed when SantosFcOsasco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bago AD's zone, Rubens Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Leite came out of the goal and Rubens Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Rubens Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Virgílio Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Leite having to interfere. SantosFcOsasco's Rubens Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rubens Souza came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the SantosFcOsasco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens Souza couldn't finish the play. After having played for 85 minutes, Adhemar Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SantosFcOsasco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noel Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Leite having to interfere. Edson Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rubens Souza went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Cristóvão Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristóvão Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristóvão Couto hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. SantosFcOsasco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
