Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laércio de Queirós started the match with the kick off. After 12 minutes, Ciro França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agnelo FC and the SÃO LUCAS F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Agnelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro França. In the 13th minute of the match Ricardo Jacinto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovanni Maciel skillfully saved the ball. In the 13th match minute, Agnelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Linares to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Agnelo FC's goalkeeper Giovanni Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Gaúcho. Benjamim Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Agnelo FC's goalkeeper Giovanni Maciel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamim Gaúcho. In the 29th minute, Benjamim Gaúcho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Laércio de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Peres in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Maciel saved Agnelo FC from getting behind. Juan Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Maciel having to interfere. SÃO LUCAS F C's Benjamim Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

João Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Agnelo FC got a freekick which was hit by João Velasco. Benjamim Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Giovanni Maciel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SÃO LUCAS F C. In the 56th match minute, SÃO LUCAS F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SÃO LUCAS F C booed when Agnelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro França didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Agnelo FC's zone, Benjamim Gaúcho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Maciel came out of the goal and Benjamim Gaúcho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giovanni Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Peres's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A collision led to Agnelo FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Cléber Magalhães hit a great ball. After 74th play minutes Laércio de Queirós shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cléberson Furlan and just under the crossbar into goal. Cléberson Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes SÃO LUCAS F C got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Motta. SÃO LUCAS F C's Cléberson Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio de Queirós in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to SÃO LUCAS F C getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Tadeu Bezerra hit a great ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Benjamim Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Agnelo FC's Giovanni Maciel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
