Spectators: 6250 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 50) Arnaldo Ferraz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th match minute, Aristeu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Luz to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Alcântara having to interfere. César Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieguinho Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Remo Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aristeu. Ivo Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If Arnaldo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Dantas in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivo Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ivo Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When José Pedro Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cadete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Dantas couldn't finish the play. When Daniel Terra fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aristeu's protests and gave Daniel Terra a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When José Pedro Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cadete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Dantas couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Pedro Dantas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute César Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Simão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Ivo Alcântara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 63 minutes into the game, José Pedro Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivo Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remo Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguinho Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match, José Pedro Dantas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivo Alcântara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. César Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Daniel Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivo Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Pedro Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Dantas in the 81st minute of play forced Aristeu's goalkeeper Ivo Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristeu's Ivo Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Dantas in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Dantas in the 87th minute of play forced Aristeu's goalkeeper Ivo Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivo Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Pedro Dantas's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ivo Alcântara came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Cadete's César Simão. But to his dismay, César Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
