With his leg Enrique Antunes managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Manguinhos EC's Adelino de Sousa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adelino de Sousa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Enrique Antunes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Váldson Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Eriberto Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Váldson Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adelino de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Manguinhos EC's Adelino de Sousa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Váldson Ortiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Enrique Antunes. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Pedro Augusto Gaúcho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Solarestival fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Váldson Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Enrique Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Váldson Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. If Léo Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manguinhos EC's Váldson Ortiz in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juan Matos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Manguinhos EC's Adelino de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Váldson Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino de Sousa in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Adelino de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manguinhos EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Váldson Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Antunes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Enrique Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Solarestival's Léo Silveira got a free kick in the 87th minute. Adelino de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solarestival's Enrique Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino de Sousa in the 91st minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Juan Matos notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Solarestival's Enrique Antunes. Enrique Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manguinhos EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
