Ricardinho Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Enrique Antunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Solarestival's Enrique Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Neto in the 49th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardinho Neto made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Ribeirão Preto FC's Enrique Antunes threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ricardinho Neto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ricardinho Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribeirão Preto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ricardinho Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Ricardinho Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Solarestival getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aníbal Cosme hit a great ball. Enrique Antunes was a little too slow when Duarte Diniz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-2. 84 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solarestival's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ribeirão Preto FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Carlos Alberto Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Silveira in the 87th minute of the match. The referee gave Solarestival a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Júlio de Azevedo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ribeirão Preto FC's Josué Berger. 1-2. When Moisés de Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ribeirão Preto FC's protests and gave Moisés de Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. Moisés de Moraes hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute.
