Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) José Pedro Dantas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cadete's Remo Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Cadete from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Manguinhos EC's Juan Matos got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Alex de Brito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manguinhos EC's Celsinho Almeida didn't even have to move. If Váldson Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Manguinhos EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Matos to maneuver through the defense. José Pedro Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Remo Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cadete's Eliseu Massa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Remo Nóbrega made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adelino de Sousa in the 36th minute. Váldson Ortiz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson Ortiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cadete's César Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Adelino de Sousa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, César Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celsinho Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Dantas in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Manguinhos EC's Luís Fabiano Furtado got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Pedro Dantas in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Manguinhos EC's Luís Fabiano Furtado got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Adelino de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manguinhos EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 69 minutes, Adelino de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manguinhos EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cadete's zone, Adelino de Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Nóbrega came out of the goal and Adelino de Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Nóbrega having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Manguinhos EC's Váldson Ortiz got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, José Pedro Dantas lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Celsinho Almeida. 87 minutes into the match, Manguinhos EC's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Dantas came free, but Celsinho Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adelino de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Nóbrega having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cadete had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
