After 20th play minutes Alfredão Guerra shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Frédson Tróia and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience was convinced that Válbson de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frédson Tróia was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Rômulo Aguiar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Breja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Aguiar came free, but Leonel Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Fernando de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breja FC's protests and gave Fernando de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Fernando de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Carlos Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If José Carlos Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredão Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frédson Tróia having to make a save. In the 91st minute, BAÚ DA MORTE's Vivaldo Rosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 97 minutes into the match, BAÚ DA MORTE's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião de Brito came free, but Frédson Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breja FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
