Jacaresinho FC's Erik Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony de Alcântara in the 31st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Erequim's goal looked a bit too open when Kléber Amorim came free, but Roberto Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Erequim's goalkeeper Roberto Dias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jacaresinho FC's Jonas Moreira got a free kick in the 93rd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jacaresinho FC had played much better football throughout.
