Conrado Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Amorim in the 9th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aloísio Guedes in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Quirino saved Jacaresinho FC from getting behind. A collision led to Jacaresinho FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Cauã Moraes hit a great ball. Conrado Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléber Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Kléber Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Tomé Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Alberto Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Erik Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Guedes in the 29th minute of play. Tomé Sergipano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacaresinho FC's Erik Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Guedes in the 33rd minute of play. If Kléber Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute of the match Edgar Mangueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Quirino skillfully saved the ball. When Contenda-Pr's Aloísio Guedes in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jacaresinho FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute, Wilson Amorim sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jacaresinho FC's Erik Quirino didn't even have to move. Carlos Alberto Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Quirino having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Aloísio Guedes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erik Quirino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aloísio Guedes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Cauã Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jacaresinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Contenda-Pr the free kick. After 55 played minutes Jacaresinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Cauã Moraes. When Aloísio Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Contenda-Pr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Guedes couldn't finish the play. When Clóvis Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Contenda-Pr's protests and gave Clóvis Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, Contenda-Pr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clóvis Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the game, Cafu Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Contenda-Pr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacaresinho FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Contenda-Pr's Cafu Amorim got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kléber Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cauã Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Kléber Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Luz having to interfere. When Aloísio Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Contenda-Pr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloísio Guedes couldn't finish the play. Conrado Luz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 90 minutes, Tomé Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacaresinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Kléber Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Luz. Contenda-Pr's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Kléber Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Luz having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Contenda-Pr eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
