After 18 played minutes Creche Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Rosa. Edgard Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Amorim in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Cauã Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kléber Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee ignored Jacaresinho FC's protests and gave Tomé Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jacaresinho FC's Tomé Sergipano got a free kick in the 31st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacaresinho FC's Erik Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Sampaio in the 55th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Jacaresinho FC got a corner. Creche Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Augusto Salgado ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Jacaresinho FC's Tomé Sergipano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Edgard Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Amorim in the 91st minute of the match. Jacaresinho FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
