Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardinho Prado started the match with the kick off. Bernardinho Prado's late challenge caught a Barreirinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Prado helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Malagutti Soccêr got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Prado. After 6 played minutes, Malagutti Soccêr's Alfredinho Ferraz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lance Porter came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malagutti Soccêr reached it. Tião Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Pena got free with Tiaguinho Sena in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardinho Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lance Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Macedo in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Malagutti Soccêr got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Chaves. 37 minutes into the match, Antônio Pires sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tiaguinho Sena threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Antônio Pires this time. The excitement rose when Barreirinha FC's Tião Pena after 40 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Malagutti Soccêr's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-0. Bernardinho Prado struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Lance Porter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malagutti Soccêr.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldinho Macedo was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Tião Pena put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tiaguinho Sena. Tiaguinho Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Ulisses da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulisses da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ulisses da Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Malagutti Soccêr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Tião Pena took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiaguinho Sena. Tiaguinho Sena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. A collision led to Malagutti Soccêr getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bernardinho Prado hit a great ball. Tiaguinho Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Macedo in the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes, Barreirinha FC's Antônio Pires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiaguinho Sena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barreirinha FC reached it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Barreirinha FC fully deserved thier win.
