Celso Dias made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nicolas Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes in the game, Natanael Perez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Nicolas Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Dias having to interfere. Celso Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Ceresso in the 46th minute.

Orlando Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The coaching staff of Licio FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Claudinei Bueno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Celso Dias had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Samuel Trancoso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Natanael Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Dias having to interfere. Celso Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Ceresso in the 75th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Licio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Ceresso came free, but Celso Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Ceresso in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Orlando Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Ceresso went, in the 100th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Birutas FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
