In the 20th match minute, Ourizona SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Genílson França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Correia having to interfere. Clóvis Quirino struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dorian Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ourizona SC. It was a penalty for Ourizona SC! In the 39th minute, the referee gave Chopeiro AD a penalty. Gilson Baiano looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Zé Paulo Motta. After a defensive mix-up in Ourizona SC's zone, Fausto Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Paulo Motta came out of the goal and Fausto Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genílson França's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dorian Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Lopes was the one to do the kick off. The Ourizona SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zé Paulo Motta should have stopped the shot. Dorian Correia came out of the goal and Clóvis Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Genílson França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chopeiro AD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gilson Baiano hit a great ball. A collision led to Ourizona SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Inácio Zonta hit a great ball. Ourizona SC's Zé Paulo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Lopes in the 73rd minute of play. Fausto Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Fernandes took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Paulo Motta. Zé Paulo Motta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chopeiro AD had won after a very even match.
