After 14 played minutes Ourizona SC got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Matorin. In the 17th minute Carlinhos de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paulo Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 23 in the game by Giuseppe Pirani from a close distance when the talented Zé Paulo Motta managed to make a qualified save. Ourizona SC's players were relieved. If Clóvis Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Paulo Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos de Godoi in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Susto AD's Carlinhos de Godoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clóvis Quirino to make the kick off. When Clóvis Quirino came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ourizona SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Quirino couldn't finish the play. Ourizona SC's Zé Paulo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Pirani in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Carlinhos de Godoi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ourizona SC's Zé Paulo Motta. Zé Paulo Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Paulo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos de Godoi in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paulo Motta saved Ourizona SC from getting behind.
