Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Régis de Toledo got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes Licio FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto de Toledo. When Régis de Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lustosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis de Toledo couldn't finish the play. Giovanni Damião hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Régis de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Celso Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Licio FC's Celso Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Licio FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis de Toledo in the 21st minute of play forced Licio FC's goalkeeper Celso Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Régis de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Juninho Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Álvaro Cearense could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Celso Dias however easily saved by the left post. In the 37th minute Lustosa were awarded a corner. José Pedro de Senna went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Lustosa getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Beto Souza hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Gugu da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis de Toledo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Régis de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Gerber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Régis de Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis de Toledo in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celso Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis de Toledo in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Gugu da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lustosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gugu da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Isaltino Saraiva got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Celso Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis de Toledo in the 79th minute of play. If Régis de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute.
