Egídio Negri got his second yellow card in the match during the 14th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 15 played minutes Taireta got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Negri. A collision led to ASA NEGRA getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vânderson Marinho hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Edson Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cido Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Gaspar having to interfere. Anísio Lira struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hélder Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASA NEGRA. In the 36th minute Cido Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cido Paraense struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Hélder Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASA NEGRA. Cauã Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Cunha in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Taireta's zone, Vânderson Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Gaspar came out of the goal and Vânderson Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

57 minutes into the match, Cido Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Gaspar. Taireta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of ASA NEGRA booed when Taireta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Gaspar came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by ASA NEGRA's Cido Paraense. But to his dismay, Cido Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. With his leg Cauã Toscano managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Taireta's Edson Cunha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 94 minutes, Cido Paraense made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Taireta's Hélder Gaspar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. ASA NEGRA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
