Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kauã Castro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4thth minute of the game Benjamin Mineiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botafogo fc's Juan Paes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cauan de Moraes's late challenge caught a Ibipeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cauan de Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. Reinaldo Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tarcisio Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Trancoso having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Rubinho Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibipeba and the Botafogo fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ibipeba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rubinho Tepedino hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Benjamin Mineiro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Botafogo fc's Juan Paes got control of the ball when Dinei Donatello tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botafogo fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cafu Godoi was slow to take the kick. During this time Ibipeba's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ibipeba's corner Gildo Martins fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Juan Paes quite easily take care of the ball. If Kauã Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Paes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Mineiro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Botafogo fc getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Reinaldo Siqueira hit a great ball. Dinei Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Paes having to interfere. Gildo Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Benjamin Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Juan Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Luan Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kauã Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Trancoso having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Dinei Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulão Mello's late challenge caught a Ibipeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulão Mello helped the player get up and apologised. When Dinei Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Ibipeba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Donatello couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Benjamin Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 79th minute of the match Rafa de Mendonça sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Paes skillfully saved the ball. Botafogo fc's Reinaldo Siqueira got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Reinaldo Siqueira off the ground. In the 81st minute, Reinaldo Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ibipeba's Dinei Donatello in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botafogo fc's goalie prevented a goal. Benjamin Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Botafogo fc's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Mineiro came free, but Juan Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Ibipeba were the better team. Ibipeba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
