After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Betão de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Silver Star's supporters rose to their feet, but Betão de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Meira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Cássio Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão de Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo Meira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Betão de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fronteiro SC's Leopoldo Meira got control of the ball when Betão de Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Rosa in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Almeida saved Silver Star from getting behind. Valdemar Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Durval Lucas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Valdemar Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Durval Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Durval Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Almeida having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, Fronteiro SC's André Rosa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Silver Star players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fronteiro SC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when André Rosa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cássio Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fronteiro SC's Leopoldo Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cássio Hoffmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cássio Hoffmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdemar Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Fronteiro SC's André Rosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Valdemar Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Rosa's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Durval Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Almeida having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Fronteiro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Hoffmann came free, but Leopoldo Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Cássio Hoffmann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Star and the Fronteiro SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cássio Hoffmann hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If André Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
